Another chemical called Propylene Glycol is a penetration enhancer and makes the chemicals go deeper into the skin. It’s a cosmetic form of antifreeze. Fragrances can be in most natural products, too. Half of the ingredients in the fragrance products they tested were not listed on the label. Many of these ingredients are phthalates (which are linked to diabetes, obesity, cancer, to name a few), and are neurotoxins and chemicals likely to stimulate an allergic reaction.
