These birdseed cakes come in different shapes with a string for hanging on a tree or in a bush for the birds. They are made with premium seed, peanut butter, oats, cornmeal and held together with my own tallow and bits, leftover from the rendering process. These cakes are highly nutrient rich for the birds, especially during the cold weather, as they provide a high-energy source of fat that helps them stay warm and survive harsh conditions. They come shrink wrapped and ready to hang. I suggest putting them in the freezer a couple minutes to help firm up, before removing the wrapping, since they are hand made.
